The Plague Survival Test
Face 40 difficult plague-outbreak decisions involving infection risk, resources, shelter, medicine, danger and other survivors. Your choices determine both how well you survive and the moral path you take.
Make your choices carefully. Survival and morality are measured separately.
This is a fictional survival experience. Your result is based entirely on the choices you make during the test.
About the Survival Test
The Plague Survival Test is a 40-decision fictional survival challenge that places you inside a developing infectious disease outbreak. Instead of testing your knowledge of a particular movie or television series, the test asks you to make difficult choices as conditions change around you.
The situations cover many aspects of survival, including infection risk, food, water, shelter, transportation, medicine, dangerous situations, resources, information, leadership and relationships with other survivors. Some decisions focus on immediate danger, while others require you to think about what could happen several days or weeks later.
Your decisions determine your Survival Score. Certain questions also contribute to a separate Morality Score, allowing the test to measure two different aspects of your choices rather than treating survival and morality as the same thing.
The test is designed as a fictional entertainment experience and thought experiment. Your result is not a scientific prediction of how you would perform during a real infectious disease outbreak or emergency.
What This Test Covers
The 40 decisions cover different problems that could arise during a fictional plague outbreak. Some situations involve immediate threats, while others focus on managing limited resources and making decisions that could affect your group over time.
Infection Control
Some situations involve reducing exposure, dealing with symptomatic people, separating potentially infected individuals, maintaining hygiene and deciding how much contact with other people is worth the risk.
Food and Water
Questions may involve finding, protecting and managing essential supplies when access to food and clean water becomes limited.
Shelter and Transportation
The test includes decisions about choosing secure locations, moving between areas and deciding when transportation is worth the risks involved.
Medicine and Healthcare
Some situations involve injuries, illness, medical supplies and difficult decisions about how to respond when professional medical help is unavailable or healthcare systems are under pressure.
Other Survivors
Some decisions involve trust, cooperation, leadership, conflict and relationships with other survivors. Working with others can provide advantages while also creating additional risks and responsibilities.
Morality and Difficult Choices
Certain decisions include a separate morality component. These choices can involve compassion, fairness, trust, responsibility and the willingness to help others when doing so may create additional risks for your group.
HOW THE TEST WORKS
The complete test contains 40 fictional survival decisions. Every decision presents four possible choices. Read the situation carefully and select the option you believe gives you the best outcome within the scenario.
Each decision can contribute to your Survival Score. The final Survival Score is converted into a percentage based on the scoring system used by the test.
Some decisions also contain a morality component. These choices contribute separately to your Morality Score and can reflect factors such as compassion, fairness, trust, responsibility and your willingness to help other people.
The two scores are intentionally separate. A player can make highly effective survival decisions while making choices that produce a lower Morality Score. Likewise, a compassionate decision is not necessarily the safest decision in every fictional situation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How many decisions are in the test?
There are 40 fictional survival decisions, and every decision provides four possible choices.
How is the Survival Score calculated?
Your choices contribute to a Survival Score based on how effectively you handle infection risk, resources, shelter, travel, medical situations and long-term survival. The final result is displayed as a percentage.
What does the Morality Score measure?
It reflects patterns in decisions involving compassion, fairness, responsibility, loyalty, sacrifice and helping others. It does not determine whether you are a good or bad person.
Can I have a high Survival Score and a low Morality Score?
Yes. The two scores measure different aspects of your decisions. A choice that improves your chances of survival does not necessarily represent the most compassionate or fair decision.
What are the survival result levels?
Your result falls into one of five categories: Extremely Vulnerable, Short-Term Survivor, Survivor, Outbreak Survivor or Master Survivor. An estimated survival period is also provided.
Is this test medically accurate?
No. It is a fictional entertainment experience, not medical advice or a professional emergency-planning tool. Real infectious diseases vary greatly, so actual outbreaks require guidance from qualified medical and public-health authorities.
Can I change my answers?
Yes. You can use the BACK button to return to earlier decisions and reconsider your choices before submitting the test.
Can I take the test again?
Yes. Select TRY AGAIN after receiving your result to restart the test and see how different decisions affect your Survival and Morality Scores.
Can I challenge my friends?
Yes. After completing the test, use CHALLENGE YOUR FRIENDS to share the challenge and compare your plague-outbreak results with other players.
